A Note to the Reader

I like politeness, but I love sincerity. I’m here for both. This space exists primarily to support my debut novel, Half of Us: Book One, and to give interested readers a place to learn more about the work behind it and the planned trilogy. It is meant as a simple extension of the book for those who want context, reflection, or an occasional note from the author.

The name Notakwoda Press is intentional. Spoken aloud, it becomes “not a quota.” It reflects a rejection of writing to satisfy volume, trends, or numbers. Create. Learn. Inspire. The work is done when it is done, crafted by artistic integrity rather than line charts. That principle applies both to the stories themselves and to how often anything appears here.

From time to time, I may share brief thoughts about the novel, reflections on writing, or material connected to future projects. The emphasis, however, remains on the book and the conversations it invites.
